The AC30’s are a 7 piece experienced and highly professional band based in the Midlands with a vast knowledge of the music they play. Concentrating on original Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae genres (with a dash on 2-Tone here and there), they pride themselves on being true to the original recordings.

The band are also proud to have been the backing band for chart topper Susan Cadogan (‘Hurt So Good’ 1975 ,’ Fever’ etc), Carroll Thompson (‘I’m So Sorry’, ‘Hopelessly in Love’ 1981),  Troy Ellis (Son of Alton Ellis) and the U.K touring band of Stranger Cole (‘Uno Dos Tres’, ‘Bangaran’, ‘Rough and Tough’). Adding to the list of legendary performers, The AC30’s will be the backing band for Derrick Morgan at Skamouth 2019 and appearing with Dave Barker (Dave and Ansel Collins) June 2019.

With a set list comprising of Prince Buster, John Holt, Max Romeo, Ken Boothe, Jimmy Cliff, Alton Ellis, Toots and The Maytells to name but a few along with original material, audiences find it hard keeping off the dance floor!
November 2016 saw  the AC30’s share the bill with the legendary Ken Booth, Dave and Ansell Collins and The Blockheads at the Skamouth 2016 Festival in Great Yarmouth whilst backing Susan Cadogan.
